From Georgia Tech to Manhattan

Martin, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, began his collegiate career at Georgia Tech in 2022, where he redshirted. He transferred to Blinn College in 2023, then moved on to Southeastern Louisiana in 2024, where he broke out in a big way. He spent the most recent spring practices with Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) before opting to join Kansas State.

Dominant 2024 Season at Southeastern Louisiana

Martin’s 2024 season was a clear indicator of his talent. He:

  • Rushed for 1,228 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games (9 starts)
  • Was named to the All-Southland Conference First Team
  • Became a finalist for the Walter Payton Award, given to the top offensive player in FCS

At Blinn College in 2023, Martin averaged 80.4 rushing yards per game, ranking 10th nationally in the NJCAA. Back in high school, he was rated the No. 21 RB in the nation and the 256th overall prospect in the 2022 class by ESPN. As a senior, he ran for 1,114 yards and 16 touchdowns, earning all-state honors in Georgia.
