Auburn Football Releases Broadcast Schedule Details for 2025 Season
The Auburn Tigers have formally unveiled the television time slots for their 2025 college football campaign. The announcement covers the general broadcast windows designated for each game on their schedule.
According to the release, Auburn’s games will be slotted into one of four broadcast windows:
- Early (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Central Time),
- Afternoon (2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. CT),
- Night (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CT), and
- Flex, which can vary between afternoon and evening start times.
Among the more notable highlights of the schedule is Auburn’s SEC opener against Oklahoma, scheduled to take place in Norman. This historic meeting marks the first time Auburn will play at Oklahoma’s home stadium. The matchup has been given a flex designation, meaning the exact kickoff time could fall into either the afternoon or night window, depending on network selection and weekly rankings.
Other significant contests that have received flex status include three key home games:
- The October 18 clash with Missouri,
- A November 1 meeting with Kentucky, and
- The much-anticipated Iron Bowl against Alabama, set for November 29.
Auburn’s second SEC road game, a September 27 showdown with Texas A&M in College Station, will fall into the afternoon window, with a start time expected between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. CT.
Another highly anticipated game on the 2025 calendar is the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry—Auburn’s home matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs, taking place on October 11 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. This historic rivalry will be held under the lights, with a nighttime kickoff between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. CT.
Two additional conference games have set kickoff times:
- The October 25 road trip to Arkansas in Fayetteville will start early, between 11:00 a.m. and noon CT.
- The November 8 visit to Vanderbilt in Nashville will kick off in the afternoon window.
A particularly unusual time has been assigned to Auburn’s final non-conference game against Mercer, which will take place on November 22. The game is currently set to begin at 1:00 a.m. CT, though this could be an error or subject to change as it’s not typical for college football games to kick off at such an early hour.
It’s worth noting that while general broadcast windows have been assigned, specific game start times and exact TV network designations will be confirmed closer to each game. Typically, finalized kickoff times are revealed no later than one week in advance, though networks often provide details two weeks out.
In addition to the full-season broadcast outline, Auburn has already received the kickoff times for its first three games of the 2025 season:
- Season opener at Baylor on August 29 will kick off at 7:00 p.m. CT and be televised on FOX.
- The home opener at Jordan-Hare Stadium on September 6 against Ball State will start at 6:30 p.m. CT and air on ESPNU.
- Auburn’s Homecoming game will take place on September 13 against South Alabama, with kickoff set for 11:45 a.m. CT on the SEC Network.
These initial time slots, especially the prime-time matchups against Baylor and Ball State, suggest strong network interest in Auburn’s early-season performance under the 2025 slate.
As the season draws closer, fans can expect more detailed broadcast information from the SEC and its partner networks, especially as rankings, team performances, and weekly storylines unfold.
